Assault on Actress: Kavya Madhavan, Mother Likely to be Quizzed
(Kochi,July 13, 2017): Actress Kavya Madhavan and her mother will be interrogated in connection with the kidnap attempt and attack on a Malayalam actress, it is learned. According to some online media reports, the actress and her mother have moved to an unknown place following reports that they would be summoned for interrogation.

They went out from their house in Kochi yesterday at 11am. But there was no information if they returned home. Some of her friends in the industry said Kavya may be inside the house.

Meanwhile, actor Dileep is in his house at Aluva, but there is no clarity regarding the location of director Nadirsha. It is said that police have contacted both of them regarding another round of interrogation.

Kavya and her mother would be questioned today or tomorrow, say reports. They will be quizzed to find out the “Madam” mentioned by the main accused ‘Pulsar’ Suni’s friends.

The police are gearing up for the arrest as they could link the evidences together in connection with the case.

According to the reports by the news portals of vernacular dailies, the police have taken the decision after a meeting by the investigative officers in the presence of DGP Loknath Behra at the police headquarters.

The investigation team head IG Dinendra Kashyap and ADGP B. Sandhya, who supervises the investigation, also attended the meeting.

Meanwhile, Behra has ordered the police officers to complete the investigation in the case at the earliest. The DGP has instructed IG Dinendra Kashyap to stay back in Kochi to lead the investigation. He also ordered for perfect coordination among the team for investigation.
