Case to be registered against PC George

(Thiruvananthapuram, Aug 12, 2017, DG): A case will be registered against Poonjar MLA P C George for insulting the film actress who was attacked brutally in a moving vehicle. The Kerala Women's Commission has issued directions regarding this.

George had expressed doubts about the actress attack incident. He went on to say that there is zero evidence to verify the incident and the police version sounds suspicious.

Women's Commission had sought legal advice on the issue after strong criticisms poured in from several quarters against the MLA's remarks. The legal advice recommended a case against him as those remarks were clear attacks on a woman's dignity.

Following this, State Women's Commission Chairperson MC Josephine has given directions to register a case against George.
