O Rajagopal justifies BJP leaders' outbursts against govenor

O Rajagopal, BJP's lone MLA in Kerala, has rejected criticisms raised by other party leaders against governor P Sathasivam regarding the killing of a RSS activist in Kannur.

He said that such reactions should only be taken as outbursts of young leaders. Criticizing the governor is not our policy, he added.

Earlier, BJP members in Keralahad submitted a petition to the governor in connection with the latest political murder. Governor P Sathasivam handed over the petition to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and this angered them.

Following this, BJP leaders like MT Ramesh and Shobha Surendran turned against the governor and gave provocative statements. Shobha asked the governor to step down if he is afraid of Pinarayi and Ramesh had reacted saying they didn't require a mediator to approach Pinarayi.
