Solar case: Chandy to face Vigilance investigation
 
(Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 11, 2017, DG): The LDF govt on Wednesday decided to register a Vigilance case against former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy. The decision was taken after examining the report of Justice Shivarajan commission.

A criminal case will be registered against former Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan for allegedly attempting to save Chandy. Criminal cases will be registered against Congress leader Thambanoor Ravi and Former MLA Benny Behanan too.

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan informed in a press conference that Chandy and his personal staff members took bribe from Saritha S Nair. Chandy's personal staff members were also involved in it.

Department level action will be taken against DGP A Hemachandran, ADGP K Padmakumar and former Perumbavoor DYSP Harikrishnan for failing to conduct a free and fair investigation in the case.
