Mollywood actors stand with Modi

(Nov 9, 2016, DG): Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of the central government’s decision to ban Rs.500 and Rs.1000 notes has triggered mixed responses in the nation. People from all walks of life are voicing out their opinions on the issue.

Kerala Finance Minister Thomas Isaac had criticised the surprising decision, terming it a joke and calamity.

At the same time, Malayalam movie stars too had hit various social media platforms to air their views about the latest development.

The decision will cause hardships to common people for a few days, but PM Modi has urged all to deal with it patiently, for the betterment of India. These words seem to have struck a chord with Mollywood actors, as many of them came out in support of the decision.
