(Jan 19, 2017, DG): Mollywood's superhit film maker Siddique rarely had flops in his career. His camaraderie with Lal was noted for consistent box office superhits, back in the 90s. Later, the duo parted ways and Siddique decided to go it alone.
Siddique continued his string of superhits in Hitler, Friends and Chronic Bachelor. But, a movie he directed with actor Dileep in the lead broke the string of success.
According to the director, 'Bodyguard' is a movie which earned him the wrath of viewers. Many termed it a bad attempt and this made him depressed. However, the same story struck gold when remade in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. "This comforted me to a great extent", Siddique said while speaking in Radio Mango.
