SSC CGL 2017 Notification released, Apply for 20000 posts
 
Staff Selection Commission published notification inviting applications for SSC CGL 2017 that is scheduled for the month of August 2017. The applications are to be submitted at the commission’s official website ssc.nic.in starting today (May 16).

Last date to submit completely filled application is June 16. The applications submitted for the sought-after exam must fulfill the eligibility and other requirements to get considered for examination. Applications failing to meet the eligibility criteria will not be issued admit card.

Minimum Qualification: Graduate or in final year of graduation

Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (Note: this is basic eligibility to apply for SSC CGL 2017. However, it varies with each post)

The much-awaited notification was released clearing all the doubts and confusion regarding the exam. As per Notification, exam will be conducted in multiple dates starting from August 08 to August 20.



Following the pattern of previous year SSC CGL, the exam will be conducted in four tiers with each tier being mandatory and qualifying in nature. Marks obtained in first two tiers are considered while preparing final merit list whereas Tier III and Tier IV are qualifying in nature.

The Result of the exam conducted in August 2017 will be announced in October 2017 and qualified candidates will be invited for Tier II that is scheduled on November 10 and November 11, 2017. Qualified candidates of Tier II will have to appear for Tier III on Jan 21 followed by Tier IV for CSS and IT candidates in Feb 2018.
