Scope of getting XAT XLRI for candidates getting low grades
 
XAT paper was difficult as compared to previous year question papers and therefore, according to top expert’s suggestion-

“Ignore that you have written XAT 2018 and start preparing for XAT advanced selection process for admission to top colleges. You would be surprised that you would get shortlisted for some of the top institutes that you thought was impossible!’

So, it is possible that candidates would score a high percentile – sectional as well as overall with low score in view of the difficulty level in each of the 3 sections in XAT 2018 i.e. candidates who are expecting 6.5 grade can get 80% and those who are expecting 7.5 will surely get more than 85%.

Steps to check XAT Result

It must be noted that XAT Results will be declared online and XAT score cards will be sent by post after the declaration of the result. Step wise process for checking the result is mentioned below.




1)Visit the official website of XAT i.e. www.xatonline.net.in
2)Look for the result link “XAT 2018- Score Card”
3)Aspirants can log-in using their Registration Number and Date of Birth
4)Click on the link “Download XAT Score Card”.
5)Download XAT score card which is available in PDF format.

Note: XAT 2018 score card and result will be available for downloading as long as the admission process will continue. Candidate can download it anytime between this duration.

What is XAT Score Card?

XAT score card will be generated after the declaration of XAT Result. It is a crucial document that must be safely preserved. It contains the marks secured by any candidate in various section of XAT. Based on the marks scored, candidates will be shortlisted for further rounds for admission. Also the original XAT Score Card will be sent via post

Following details will be mentioned on XAT score card:

1)Candidate’s name
2)Exam Date
3)XAT ID
4)Date of release of XAT result
5)Percentiles and percentages scored in different sections of XAT 2018

What after XAT Result 2018?

1)List of shortlisted candidates will be released.
2)Shortlisting will be followed by Personal Interview or Group Discussion
3)All the shortlisted candidates will then be required to update the city to appear for the interview.
4)They must also submit certain documents.
5)Next step is to book interview slots and upload self-profile assessment & video.
6)Interviews will be held at XLRI in the month of February and March, 2018.
7)Every college will declare separate cut off and selection process for admission.
8)All qualifying candidates can seek admission in any of the 150 premium B-schools.
